Reaching Up’s mission to equip the youth in the Columbus County area to become active Citizens while training them with Leadership, Character, and Academic Skills. Simply, our vision is to form successful leaders while developing in them a passion to become active citizens. In order to form successful leaders, a variety of activities resources and events are offered.
Active Citizenship is a important part of Reaching Up’s mission. In order to instill in the youth a passion for community service we have chosen to become VERY active!. The most effective way to complete such a task is to allow the youth to have “hands-on” experiences with the community. Conducting Service is a win-win situation for the youth and community. While the youth have a chance to become involved, the community reaps the benefits of the services and events provided.
